Some advice is essential in order to correctly calculate the area of your land, to avoid missing sod once it is time to lay it. You will find below how to correctly calculate your land.
Get a measuring wheel or tape measure. Measure the length and width of the area to be sodded. Calculate the areas without grass (the entrance, garden area, etc.) in order to remove them from the total area of the land to be sodded. Tip: you can use your certificate of location to get the exact measurements!
Important: When measuring the area to be covered, calculate a 10% overage, as grass cuttings cause some loss.
